Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) Hermitage FC's Donn Robinson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Hermitage FC's zone, Beehan Ferguson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davie Frankson came out of the goal and Beehan Ferguson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berke Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davie Frankson having to interfere. Beehan Ferguson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davie Frankson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Anablaha's Reidy Keegan got a free kick in the 17th minute. Blanaid O'Down, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute, Rownun O'Down hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abbot Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rownun O'Down in the 35th minute of play forced Hermitage FC's goalkeeper Davie Frankson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Beehan Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anablaha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beehan Ferguson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Donn Robinson came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hermitage FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donn Robinson couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Beehan Ferguson made a precise shot to the right of Davie Frankson. Hermitage FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Hermitage FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anablaha were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beehan Ferguson to make the kick off. Davie Frankson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beehan Ferguson in the 55th minute. Beehan Ferguson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davie Frankson having to interfere. Babe Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Berke Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donn Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coileán Jameson having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Anablaha got a freekick which was hit by Bowen Molloy. Hermitage FC's Donn Robinson got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berke Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denny Moran hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Hermitage FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beehan Ferguson came free, but Davie Frankson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berke Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davie Frankson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beehan Ferguson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play. Anablaha's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
