Bradigan Dempsey scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Devlin Dillon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Suibhne Walker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baoithin Byrne. Downies Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Suibhne Walker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Suibhne Walker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Suibhne Walker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Suibhne Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killinkere Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suibhne Walker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
