The supporters of Killinkere Utd booed when Modubeagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breas McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breslin Holt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Suibhne Walker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 49 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Suibhne Walker to make the kick off. Breslin Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suibhne Walker in the 80th minute of play. Kennedy Savic hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Flannery Johnson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breslin Holt. Modubeagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flannery Johnson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Trevor Barrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devlin Dillon having to interfere.
