Dundonnell Utd's Bradain McFrank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rorke McStephen in the 27th minute of play. The wind increased when Phillip McJohnny made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Dundonnell Utd got a corner. Callaghane FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Phillip McJohnny ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Dundonnell Utd's corner Phillip McJohnny fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boroimhe McIan quite easily take care of the ball. Torna McAlphie might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boroimhe McIan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torna McAlphie ran back to his position shaking his head. Boroimhe McIan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phillip McJohnny went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Phillip McJohnny came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Dundonnell Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phillip McJohnny couldn't finish the play.
