Ballyshane
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kevis McMichel took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3rd play minutes Kevis McMichel shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sameer Gough and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Ballyshane defense, Leonard Perth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beacan McLaughlin. The Ballyshane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beacan McLaughlin should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Riley Coyle could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Sameer Gough however easily saved by the left post. 14 minutes into the game, Barhan Perth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maynooth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballyshane the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Maynooth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barhan Perth to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Kevinn McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maynooth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevinn McJon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Leonard Perth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maynooth's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Perth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beacan McLaughlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Maynooth's Beagan McGlenn got a free kick in the 26th minute. Kevis McMichel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sameer Gough came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyshane's Riley Coyle. But to his dismay, Riley Coyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brandan Sheridan during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ballyshane getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Brandan Sheridan hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Leonard Perth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beacan McLaughlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Beartlai Johnson fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballyshane's protests and gave Beartlai Johnson a yellow card for diving instead. 38 minutes into the game, one of Ballyshane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 42nd minute, Barhan Perth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tevin Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Kevinn McJon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beacan McLaughlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Perth to strike the kick off in the second half. Beacan McLaughlin was a little too slow when Leonard Perth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-5. Leonard Perth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Beacan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maynooth's Sameer Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevis McMichel in the 59th minute of play. Sameer Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevis McMichel in the 61st minute of play. Ballyshane's Beacan McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Perth in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Maynooth getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fergus Palmer hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Riley Coyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyshane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riley Coyle in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sameer Gough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Maynooth getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Barhan Perth hit a great ball.
