Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kilmacanoge Utd's Bairee Caffrey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Greagh FC booed when Kilmacanoge Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brite McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Braddon Costello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Bairee Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brennen Hamilton came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Greagh FC's Braddon Costello. But to his dismay, Braddon Costello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Beara Todd made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Brannan McFrancise sent off a good shot on target. After 16 minutes, Bernard Prunty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greagh FC and the Kilmacanoge Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Greagh FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bernard Prunty hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Braddon Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greagh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braddon Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brennen Hamilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Greagh FC's Beara Todd got control of the ball when Doney McFrancise tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beara Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doney McFrancise in the 25th minute of play. When Brite McWillie fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilmacanoge Utd's protests and gave Brite McWillie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Kilmacanoge Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brite McWillie to maneuver through the defense. Herne McSteve's late challenge caught a Greagh FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herne McSteve helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kilmacanoge Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute of the match, Brannan McFrancise got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beara Todd was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bernard Prunty hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Greagh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennedy McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Banan Taylor, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Kilmacanoge Utd booed when Greagh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett McPeter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Braddon Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brite McWillie was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Greagh FC booed when Kilmacanoge Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brite McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greagh FC's Braddon Costello got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Greagh FC's Kennedy McPhilip dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Greagh FC's Braddon Costello in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilmacanoge Utd's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute, Doney McFrancise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Greagh FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
