Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Comhghall Dillon started the match with the kick off. Comhghall Dillons short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Braon McPeter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bard McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute of the match, Bard McFrancise tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Braon McPeter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Aaden Harkin fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meadstown's protests and gave Aaden Harkin a yellow card for diving instead. Ballydivin made a substitution. Roordan Costello replaced Ros Gillmour. A collision led to Meadstown getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aaden Harkin hit a great ball. Braon McPeter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Comhghall Dillon in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Meadstown's zone, Art Silke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braon McPeter came out of the goal and Art Silke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bard McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Ballydivin's Comhghall Dillon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braon McPeter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Blaine McLiam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brann McNamara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 played minutes Meadstown got a freekick which was hit by Derin Holt. Braon McPeter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bard McFrancise in the 38th minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Ballydivin's Bard McFrancise made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braon McPeter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rollan McStephen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. If Bard McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rollan McStephen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Ballydivin were awarded a corner. Art Silke went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Art Silke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Meadstown's Braon McPeter did a great save. Bard McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon McPeter having to interfere. Braon McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comhghall Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Comhghall Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Comhghall Dillon made a precise shot to the right of Braon McPeter. Meadstown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 79thth minute of the game Comhghall Dillon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meadstown's Braon McPeter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bard McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon McPeter having to interfere. Braon McPeter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bard McFrancise went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Braon McPeter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bard McFrancise in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Aaden Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brann McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braon McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bard McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brann McNamara made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tobin McTom sent off a good shot on target. Bard McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ballydivin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
