Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bairee Caffrey started the match with the kick off. Derry Willson came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilmacanoge Utd's Brannan McFrancise. But to his dismay, Brannan McFrancise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Kilmacanoge Utd's Tiomoid McJohnny got a free kick in the 14th minute. Brannan McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derry Willson having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Flannery Mulvihill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Brennen Hamilton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bairee Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Kilmacanoge Utd's Bairee Caffrey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Derry Willson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Derry Willson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairee Caffrey in the 29th minute of play. Flannery Mulvihill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brennen Hamilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Booak McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Booak McMichel to strike the kick off in the second half. Derry Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bairee Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Killashandra FC's Torrey Sheridan got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Bairee Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Killashandra FC's Derry Willson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bairee Caffrey in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Killashandra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torrey Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. Derry Willson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairee Caffrey in the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Booak McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killashandra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Booak McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brennen Hamilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiomoid McJohnny during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiomoid McJohnny kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Brannan McFrancise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Derry Willson made a huge save. Bairee Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Derry Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Kilmacanoge Utd's Bairee Caffrey made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Derry Willson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Flannery Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Killashandra FC's Derry Willson got control of the ball when Brannan McFrancise tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Booak McMichel in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brennen Hamilton saved Kilmacanoge Utd from getting behind. The Kilmacanoge Utd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kilmacanoge Utd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
