Culmullin Utd's Blathmacc McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donelle Prunty in the 5th minute of play. If Donegal McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beothach Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Beothach Deery took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Loughlin McJon to make any attempt to save it. Donelle Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Blathmacc McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Culmullin Utd's Donlan O'Down sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loughlin McJon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donlan O'Down received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Loughlin McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blathmacc McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donegal McLiam in the 26th minute of play. Donelle Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donegal McLiam in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blathmacc McPhilip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blathmacc McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donelle Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beothach Deery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Culmullin Utd booed when Coalbrook FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Begg Quinnless didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Loughlin McJon came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Culmullin Utd's Beothach Deery. But to his dismay, Beothach Deery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 64th minute Donlan O'Down shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loughlin McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Coalbrook FC booed when Culmullin Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beothach Deery didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donegal McLiam in the 74th minute of play forced Culmullin Utd's goalkeeper Blathmacc McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donlan O'Down received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Loughlin McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donelle Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathmacc McPhilip having to interfere. Culmullin Utd's Blathmacc McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donegal McLiam in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Culmullin Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Donegal McLiam came free, but Blathmacc McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donelle Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathmacc McPhilip having to interfere. Coalbrook FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
