Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bradaigh Scully made the kick off which started today's match. In the 8th minute, Alfred McVictor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kilmastulla's Boroimhe Molloy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breck Colwell in the 13th minute of play. Gordan Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boroimhe Molloy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradaigh Scully in the 17th minute of the match. Beccan Taylor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Henry Ferguson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfred McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ardeevin's Beccan Taylor got a free kick in the 26th minute. Darragh Lavine was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Seán Silke. After having played for 31 minutes, Gordan Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardeevin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordan Tracy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ardeevin's Bradaigh Scully in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilmastulla's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, Gordan Tracy made a precise shot to the right of Boroimhe Molloy. Kilmastulla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bairre Caffey charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bairre Caffey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kilmastulla's Bairre Caffey got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kilmastulla's zone, Bradaigh Scully stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boroimhe Molloy came out of the goal and Bradaigh Scully tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Bradaigh Scully who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilmastulla's Boroimhe Molloy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kilmastulla's Henry Ferguson got a free kick in the 47th minute. Boroimhe Molloy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradaigh Scully in the 49th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Breadan Callaghan made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Breck Colwell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ardeevin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilmastulla the free kick. After 54 played minutes Ardeevin got a freekick which was hit by Breck Colwell. Breadan Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kilmastulla's Boroimhe Molloy got control of the ball when Gordan Tracy tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ardeevin's Bradaigh Scully sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boroimhe Molloy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Ardeevin getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gearoid McAlphie hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Kilmastulla's goal looked a bit too open when Bradaigh Scully came free, but Boroimhe Molloy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilmastulla's goalkeeper Boroimhe Molloy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Kilmastulla got a freekick which was hit by Brenainn Crowe. The audience was convinced that Bradaigh Scully's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boroimhe Molloy was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Bradaigh Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ardeevin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
