Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bec Brennan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darragh Lavine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bradaigh Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Glenade's Donlevy McAaron got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bec Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Darragh Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Ardeevin got a freekick which was hit by Breck Colwell. Darragh Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branigan Mullan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Branigan Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Darragh Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darragh Lavine made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bec Brennan sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th match minute, Ardeevin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nolen Johnson to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Bec Brennan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Darragh Lavine. Bec Brennan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Boynton McBrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradaigh Scully in the 32nd minute of play. If Gordan Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradaigh Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradaigh Scully to make the kick off. A collision led to Glenade getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Theobald Jameson hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Glen Hughes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darragh Lavine showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Glenade's Boynton McBrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Glenade from getting a goal against them. Gordan Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boynton McBrand having to interfere.
