With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred McVictor in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turlough Scully saved Clogh from getting behind. Curran Holt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Boroimhe Molloy made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Bartley Dimson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clogh's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartley Dimson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boroimhe Molloy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Kilmastulla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewain Dunne to maneuver through the defense. Clogh's Curran Holt got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curran Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Boroimhe Molloy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Kilmastulla got a freekick which was hit by Brenainn Crowe. Clogh's Turlough Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred McVictor in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Breadan Callaghan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Turlough Scully was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Turlough Scully took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breadan Callaghan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kilmastulla fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Kilmastulla's Alfred McVictor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clogh's Turlough Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breadan Callaghan in the 44th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breadan Callaghan was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Donavon Dimson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clogh and the Kilmastulla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clogh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Alfred McVictor scored 0-5 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Turlough Scully, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brenainn Crowe hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Alfred McVictor might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Turlough Scully. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred McVictor ran back to his position shaking his head. Kilmastulla's Boroimhe Molloy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartley Dimson in the 83rd minute of play. Boroimhe Molloy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curran Holt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 86th match minute, Kilmastulla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Ferguson to maneuver through the defense. Bartley Dimson took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boroimhe Molloy. Boroimhe Molloy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Alfred McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turlough Scully having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Breadan Callaghan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Turlough Scully. That made the score 1-6 in the 92 minute of play.
