Finuge's Rordan Scully got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beag Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rordan Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 30 played minutes Ballyorney got a freekick which was hit by Breslin McBrand. If Rordan Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rordan Scully in the 41st minute of play forced Ballyorney's goalkeeper Beag Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barhan Horgan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Beag Dimson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ballyorney's Beag Dimson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rordan Scully in the 95th minute of play. The Finuge players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
