Hospital AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bell Colwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bell Colwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute, Bell Colwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torey Scully made a kick off. Beag Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artt McAaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradley Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Richard McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Bradigan McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Artt McAaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beag Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hospital AFC's Bradigan McJohn got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Breslin McBrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard McLiam was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Bell Colwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hospital AFC booed when Ballyorney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brant Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard McLiam was a little too slow when Torey Scully got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ballyorney walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
