Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brenainn Gollogley kicked off to start the match. A hard shot 3 in the game by Brenainn Gollogley from a close distance when the talented Binne Gillmour managed to make a qualified save. Caherlevoy's players were relieved. Toran McDecland might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Binne Gillmour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toran McDecland ran back to his position shaking his head. Caherlevoy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Brenainn Gollogley scored to the left of an out of position Binne Gillmour, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Caherlevoy's zone, Toran McDecland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Binne Gillmour came out of the goal and Toran McDecland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Caherlevoy booed when Cloghjordan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodibeve Matthews didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Caherlevoy's goal looked a bit too open when Brenainn Gollogley came free, but Binne Gillmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dante Ramirez came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cloghjordan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Ramirez couldn't finish the play. After 14th play minutes Brenainn Gollogley shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Binne Gillmour and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Pat McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caherlevoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pat McFrank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Caherlevoy's Pat McFrank made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wojciech Tomporowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Cloghjordan FC's zone, Gordan Scully stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojciech Tomporowski came out of the goal and Gordan Scully tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wojciech Tomporowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiachra Grant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Brenainn Gollogley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cloghjordan FC's Wojciech Tomporowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordan Scully in the 31st minute of play. Wojciech Tomporowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baiscend Benson in the 33rd minute of play. Cloghjordan FC's Blanche Ghee shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Binne Gillmour but with some difficulty. Fiachra Grant's late challenge caught a Cloghjordan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiachra Grant helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cloghjordan FC booed when Caherlevoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiachra Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiachra Grant was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 42nd match minute, Caherlevoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiachra Grant to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play, Cloghjordan FC's Brenainn Gollogley made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Binne Gillmour was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brenainn Gollogley in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Binne Gillmour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the game, Cloghjordan FC's Brenainn Gollogley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Binne Gillmour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When Terence McBrandon fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caherlevoy's protests and gave Terence McBrandon a yellow card for diving instead. Terence McBrandon hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Terence McBrandon came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Caherlevoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terence McBrandon couldn't finish the play. Cloghjordan FC's Wojciech Tomporowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cloghjordan FC from getting a goal against them. After 74 played minutes Caherlevoy got a freekick which was hit by Terence McBrandon. In the 75th minute, Brenainn Gollogley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toran McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Terence McBrandon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wojciech Tomporowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Pat McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caherlevoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Pat McFrank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wojciech Tomporowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Boethis Cooney sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Wojciech Tomporowski threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Boethis Cooney this time. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cloghjordan FC had won after a very even match.
