Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caherlevoy were furious when Basil McJames was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caherlevoy's goalkeeper Binne Gillmour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darragh McOliver in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Binne Gillmour saved Caherlevoy from getting behind. Binne Gillmour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darragh McOliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Moylough booed when Caherlevoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiachra Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Bourns Murphy led 27 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Caherlevoy's Binne Gillmour became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Moylough's goal looked a bit too open when Pat McFrank came free, but Cahir Benson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darragh McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binne Gillmour having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Pat McFrank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cahir Benson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiachra Grant, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cahir Benson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat McFrank in the 43rd minute of play. Seán Colwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 played minutes Darragh McOliver rounded Caherlevoy's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darragh McOliver was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caherlevoy's goalkeeper Binne Gillmour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artuir Matthews during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Seán Colwell ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Caherlevoy's goal looked a bit too open when Darragh McOliver came free, but Binne Gillmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrew Molloy charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrew Molloy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Pat McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendan Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Braoin McAlphie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moylough's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caherlevoy the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Moylough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braoin McAlphie to maneuver through the defense. Cahir Benson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Artuir Matthews. Seán Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binne Gillmour having to interfere. Pat McFrank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pat McFrank struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cahir Benson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caherlevoy. Cahir Benson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pat McFrank in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Moylough's Devlin Hutton got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Pat McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caherlevoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pat McFrank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caherlevoy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
