Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gordan Scully got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tulsk's zone, Fiachra Grant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gearóid Johnson came out of the goal and Fiachra Grant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pat McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearóid Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat McFrank in the 15th minute of the match. Binne Gillmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fachtna McPhilip in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caherlevoy's goalkeeper Binne Gillmour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Tulsk's goal looked a bit too open when Gordan Scully came free, but Gearóid Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bard Hamilton got free with Binne Gillmour in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordan Scully in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gearóid Johnson saved Tulsk from getting behind. When Pat McFrank came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Caherlevoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pat McFrank couldn't finish the play. Pat McFrank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gordan Scully came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Caherlevoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gordan Scully couldn't finish the play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fachtna McPhilip in the 53rd minute of play forced Caherlevoy's goalkeeper Binne Gillmour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bard Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binne Gillmour having to interfere. Gearóid Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gordan Scully's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, one of Tulsk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tulsk. When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, Caherlevoy's Artuir Matthews got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gearóid Johnson. Gordan Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Gordan Scully fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 79th minute Gordan Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearóid Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gearóid Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordan Scully in the 79th minute of play.
