Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kieran McFrancise took the kick off in the first half of the match. Harrigan Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Gortgar's goalkeeper Begley Brennan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerem Ömer. Kerem Ömer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Barhan Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortgar's supporters rose to their feet, but Barhan Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Glen Crowe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Kieran McFrancise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Glen Crowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Glen Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barhan Martyn in the 15th minute of the match. Brigid Perth charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brigid Perth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Brigid Perth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gortgar's zone, Kerem Ömer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Begley Brennan came out of the goal and Kerem Ömer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Kerem Ömer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Begley Brennan was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When Kilcolgan's Kerem Ömer in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gortgar's goalie prevented a goal. If Kerem Ömer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kieran McFrancise in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Antaine Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kieran McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerem Ömer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Begley Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kerem Ömer made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kerem Ömer made a precise shot to the right of Begley Brennan. Gortgar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 57th minute, Kieran McFrancise reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of George Glen Crowe. The goal made the score 1-1. Kerem Ömer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kilcolgan's Jérémie Boudier got a free kick in the 62nd minute. George Glen Crowe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bailey McTom in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Kilcolgan got a freekick which was hit by Antaine Mullan. A hard shot 68 in the game by Darby Deery from a close distance when the talented George Glen Crowe managed to make a qualified save. Kilcolgan's players were relieved. Caolán Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Begley Brennan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kerem Ömer went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. George Glen Crowe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kieran McFrancise's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When Kerem Ömer came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Kilcolgan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerem Ömer couldn't finish the play. If Kieran McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Kerem Ömer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Begley Brennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kilcolgan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
