Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tormaigh Prunty started the match with the kick off. Tormaigh Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shey Dimson having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Cloonaghboy Utd's Tormaigh Prunty dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 9th minute of the match Cathal Ghee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shey Dimson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Annaghgerry getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Coran Doherty hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bairrionn McDecland in the 11th minute of play forced Cloonaghboy Utd's goalkeeper Branson Dillon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shey Dimson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boru McWillie in the 14th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Boru McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cloonaghboy Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boru McWillie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shey Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tormaigh Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Thomas McCollion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloonaghboy Utd and the Annaghgerry players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Cloonaghboy Utd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Annaghgerry:s goal. Ailín Dimson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Boru McWillies short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Shey Dimson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Coran Caffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Tormaigh Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boru McWillie got free with Shey Dimson in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shey Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tormaigh Prunty in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Coran Doherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annaghgerry's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cloonaghboy Utd the free kick. After 42 played minutes Annaghgerry got a freekick which was hit by Coran Doherty. Tormaigh Prunty struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Shey Dimson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloonaghboy Utd. Coran Doherty was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Annaghgerry's Coran Doherty got a free kick in the 48th minute. Annaghgerry's Shey Dimson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Annaghgerry from getting a goal against them.

The audience was convinced that Tormaigh Prunty's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shey Dimson was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Shey Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boru McWillie, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Annaghgerry's goal looked a bit too open when Tormaigh Prunty came free, but Shey Dimson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tormaigh Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shey Dimson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tormaigh Prunty in the 61st minute of play forced Annaghgerry's goalkeeper Shey Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Annaghgerry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Royan McLaughlin to maneuver through the defense. Annaghgerry's Shey Dimson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tormaigh Prunty in the 67th minute of play. If Ryan Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boru McWillie in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shey Dimson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Boru McWillie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloonaghboy Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tormaigh Prunty scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shey Dimson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Annaghgerry's Bairrionn McDecland got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Annaghgerry booed when Cloonaghboy Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bow Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tormaigh Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Annaghgerry's goalkeeper Shey Dimson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tormaigh Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cloonaghboy Utd walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
