Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arthur McTommy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Beale Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donahue McAaron in the 7th minute of the match. Donahue McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Donahue McAaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beale Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Ballinafad got a freekick which was hit by Bressal Tracy. 23 minutes into the match, Ballinafad's goal looked a bit too open when Dewain McFrank came free, but Beale Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Pearce Murphy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballinafad and the Cloghoge AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Ballinafad got a freekick which was hit by Pearce Murphy. Terrence Hutton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bressal Tracy in the 29th minute. Dewain McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Beale Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cloghoge AFC's Donahue McAaron came free and shot a quick shot against goal 93 minutes in the game, fortunately Beale Palmer had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A hard shot 97 in the game by Dewain McFrank from a close distance when the talented Beale Palmer managed to make a qualified save. Ballinafad's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewain McFrank in the 98th minute of play forced Ballinafad's goalkeeper Beale Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ballinafad were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cloghoge AFC for a fine match.
