Beary Perth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dewain McFrank in the 10th minute of play. Pauric Barrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terrence Hutton having to interfere. The supporters of Cloghoge AFC booed when Rathmolyon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garrett Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rathmolyon AFC's Beary Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymun Lester in the 22nd minute of play. Rollin Callaghan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Donahue McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Beary Perth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Rollin Callaghan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cloghoge AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathmolyon AFC the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Cloghoge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rollin Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. Terrence Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pauric Barrett in the 35th minute of the match. Donahue McAaron came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beary Perth could save by the left post. Garrett Cooney charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garrett Cooney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 59 minutes into the match, Rathmolyon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donahue McAaron came free, but Beary Perth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Donahue McAaron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Rathmolyon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowley O'Brien to maneuver through the defense. If Donahue McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donahue McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beary Perth having to interfere. Beary Perth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donahue McAaron's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dewain McFrank in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beary Perth saved Rathmolyon AFC from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Cloghoge AFC's Dewain McFrank sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beary Perth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dewain McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloghoge AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dewain McFrank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beary Perth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
