The crowd rose to their feet as Derrynameel's Brandon McOliver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bell McBjarton. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dunany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! 1-4 came through a penalty shot after 83 played minutes, when Derrynameel:s Brandan McJon calmly waited for Dunany:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Brandon McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brandon McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Dunany's Gordan Caffrey got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derrynameel's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
