Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baodan Hutton started the match with the kick off. Cleary McOliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carrick AFC's Fachtna Delaney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Carrick AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Brenn Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrick AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brenn Taylor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torrans Matthews breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fachtna Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleary McOliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes, Auley McSteve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrick AFC and the Mullan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Auley McSteve kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Baodan Hutton made a precise shot to the right of Torrans Matthews. Mullan AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Baodan Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torrans Matthews having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brenn Taylor in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torrans Matthews saved Mullan AFC from getting behind. In the 21st minute of the match Blamhac Gough shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torrans Matthews showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baodan Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brenn Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Shamus McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fachtna Delaney having to interfere. Fachtna Delaney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shamus McJames went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Shamus McJames blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fachtna Delaney having to make a save. In the 45th match minute, Carrick AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Auley McSteve to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleary McOliver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mullan AFC's Shamus McJames got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Shamus McJames managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mullan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shamus McJames was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 76th minute, Baodan Hutton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Brenn Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Brenn Taylor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Desmond Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torrans Matthews was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baodan Hutton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. Cleary McOliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fachtna Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
