Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Cleary McOliver came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Mullan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleary McOliver couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mullan AFC's Bohannon McPeter got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 17th match minute, Mullan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohannon McPeter to maneuver through the defense. Torrans Matthews was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cleary McWillie. When Desmond Hughes fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mullan AFC's protests and gave Desmond Hughes a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Mullan AFC's Torrans Matthews got control of the ball when Daithi Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daithi Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Torrans Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowan Walker in the 30th minute of play forced Mullan AFC's goalkeeper Torrans Matthews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daithi Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rathkip's Daithi Murphy was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 37th match minute, Rathkip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowan Walker to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Rathkip's goal looked a bit too open when Cleary McOliver came free, but Conaill Coyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conaill Coyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shamus McJames in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Shamus McJames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conaill Coyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rowan Walker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Shamus McJames fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Conaill Coyle having to interfere. Shamus McJames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Conaill Coyle made a huge save. A collision led to Mullan AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Reidy McDecland hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Rathkip's Cleary McWillie broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rowan Walker in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torrans Matthews saved Mullan AFC from getting behind. After 63 played minutes Cleary McOliver rounded Rathkip's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. If Daithi Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Conaill Coyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shamus McJames in the 71st minute. Torrans Matthews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowan Walker in the 73rd minute of the match. Cleary McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tory Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With his leg Conaill Coyle managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Mullan AFC's Shamus McJames fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daithi Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Torrans Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rathkip's Rowan Walker fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Daithi Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mullan AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rathkip from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
