After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Torey McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Courtown's supporters rose to their feet, but Torey McVictor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enda Cassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 minutes, Flann McNamee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Courtown and the Ballinaspig AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Courtown getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Flann McNamee hit a great ball.
