After 4 played minutes Baodan Hutton rounded Courtown's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Brenn Taylor succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Brenn Taylor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Beehan McBjarton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Torey McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fachtna Delaney having to interfere. Fachtna Delaney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torey McVictor's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 31 minutes into the game, Auley McSteve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrick AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Courtown the free kick. In the 31st minute, Auley McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Binean McPhil struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fachtna Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Courtown. 34 minutes into the match, Carrick AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Torey McVictor came free, but Fachtna Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fachtna Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torey McVictor in the 36th minute of play. Torey McVictor scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fachtna Delaney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Binean McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Fachtna Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binean McPhil, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Carrick AFC defense, Torey McVictor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fachtna Delaney. The Carrick AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fachtna Delaney should have stopped the shot. Fachtna Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binean McPhil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Carrick AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Donell McIan hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the game, Brenn Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Beehan McBjarton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torey McVictor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Courtown's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Carrick AFC's zone, Binean McPhil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fachtna Delaney came out of the goal and Binean McPhil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carrick AFC's Fachtna Delaney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Carrick AFC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Carrick AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Baolach Gough hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Torey McVictor made a precise shot to the right of Fachtna Delaney. Carrick AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 89 minutes into the game, Binean McPhil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fachtna Delaney. Binean McPhil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. After having played for 92 minutes, Torey McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Courtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torey McVictor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baodan Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Beehan McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
