After having played for 37 minutes, Harold McIan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portlaw AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold McIan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blamhac Quinnless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Teagan Hamilton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drumreilly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portlaw AFC the free kick. Teagan Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Harold McIan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sameer Branson made a huge save. Blamhac Quinnless was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 83 minutes, Dillon Dillon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drumreilly and the Portlaw AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Portlaw AFC's Harold McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
