Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Healey McLian made the kick off which started today's match. Blackpool's Ryan McPhilip managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cahir McIan in the 11 minute of the game. In the 13th minute Kain John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kain John struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tevis McCready didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aghatubrid. 25 minutes into the match, Blackpool's goal looked a bit too open when Kain John came free, but Tevis McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan McPhilip during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Blackpool got a freekick which was hit by Ryan McPhilip. Kain John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Kain John managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aghatubrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kain John was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kain John to make the kick off. Kain John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tevis McCready having to interfere. Donagh Hughes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Aghatubrid's Kain John ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tevis McCready. Tevis McCready yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Kain John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scott McJohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Healey McLian in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Blackpool getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Baolach McJames hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Kain John managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aghatubrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Kain John was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tevis McCready breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tevis McCready made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kain John sent off a good shot on target. Cahir McIan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Aghatubrid's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
