Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blamhac Quinnless kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Portlaw AFC booed when Bungowla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairrionn Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Gerard Dillon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beamard Hughes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Blamhac Quinnless fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beamard Hughes having to interfere. Bairrionn Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Blamhac Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bungowla's Beamard Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blamhac Quinnless in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Portlaw AFC's Blamhac Quinnless fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cleary McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bungowla's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleary McPaul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendon McBjarton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Harold McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Blamhac Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Braon MaCollin fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bungowla's protests and gave Braon MaCollin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bungowla getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Braon MaCollin hit a great ball. Beamard Hughes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blamhac Quinnless in the 28th minute of play. Becc Doherty hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Blamhac Quinnless's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beamard Hughes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Geralt Rutherford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brendon McBjarton. Portlaw AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geralt Rutherford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Harold McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tate Mullan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Aubrey Cronin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brendon McBjarton. Portlaw AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bungowla's Geralt Rutherford slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brendon McBjarton. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleary McPaul to strike the kick off in the second half. Blamhac Quinnless scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beamard Hughes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geralt Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Brendon McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Cleary McPaul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Brendon McBjarton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Geralt Rutherford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brendon McBjarton. Portlaw AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geralt Rutherford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 77 minutes, Bel Lester mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portlaw AFC and the Bungowla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bel Lester hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Portlaw AFC's Blamhac Quinnless ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beamard Hughes. Beamard Hughes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. In the 85th minute, Salmon Harkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerard Dillon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beamard Hughes. Bungowla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brendon McBjarton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleary McPaul's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bungowla had won after a very even match.
