Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Healey McLian took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Blackpool's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Hunt came free, but Tevis McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Healey McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brenda Byrne having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Mangerton AFC's Boyle McFrank dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Healey McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mangerton AFC's Brenda Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Healey McLian in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Harold Hunt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tevis McCready, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harold Hunt made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Mangerton AFC's Beagan Colwell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tevis McCready made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 74 minutes in the game Bercan Frankson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Beagan Colwell. In the 77th minute of the game Boyd McDonald made a throw-in which Darick Ramsey played forward. If Harold Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Boyd McDonald fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mangerton AFC's protests and gave Boyd McDonald a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Mangerton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Boyd McDonald. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mangerton AFC fully deserved thier win.
