In the 25th minute Bola Dillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacey McLian charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cacey McLian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blathmacc John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baolach McJames in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Blackpool getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cacey McLian hit a great ball. Tevis McCready made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairrionn Perth in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 52nd minute, Donagh Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baolach McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Blathmacc John tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boudibiua McWillie got free with Tevis McCready in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bressail McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donagh Hughes during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donagh Hughes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kevion McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Blackpool got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Quinnless. After a defensive mix-up in Blackpool's zone, Trien McAaron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tevis McCready came out of the goal and Trien McAaron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes Blackpool got a freekick which was hit by Donagh Hughes. In the 74th minute Bairrionn Perth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bairrionn Perth struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tevis McCready didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenbonniv Utd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bressail McJon in the 86th minute of play forced Blackpool's goalkeeper Tevis McCready to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tevis McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairrionn Perth in the 89th minute of the match. Blackpool's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bressail McJon 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Tevis McCready was a little too slow when Bressail McJon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-4. Glenbonniv Utd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
