Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kain John made the kick off which started today's match. Scott McJohn made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Brion McPhil sent off a good shot on target. Brion McPhil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Scott McJohn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Harold McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aghatubrid's Bean Martyn got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Portlaw AFC got a corner. Aghatubrid's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerard Dillon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Portlaw AFC's Gerard Dillon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Scott McJohn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the game, Ailín McLian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Scott McJohn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brendon McBjarton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kain John in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Briain Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Harold McIan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Aghatubrid's Scott McJohn. Scott McJohn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Scott McJohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold McIan in the 43rd minute. Scott McJohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ailín McLian in the 44th minute of play. Aghatubrid's Scott McJohn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Aghatubrid from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blamhac Quinnless to strike the kick off in the second half. Aghatubrid's Scott McJohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold McIan in the 52nd minute of play. Kain John's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendon McBjarton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Kain John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bean Martyn was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 62nd minute, Brion McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Blamhac Quinnless left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portlaw AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brion McPhil in the 74th minute of play forced Aghatubrid's goalkeeper Scott McJohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendon McBjarton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kain John's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Kain Johns short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Brendon McBjarton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Scott McJohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blamhac Quinnless in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Portlaw AFC booed when Aghatubrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodibeua Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portlaw AFC's Harold McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Portlaw AFC's Blamhac Quinnless nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scott McJohn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 95 minutes into the game, Harold McIan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Scott McJohn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portlaw AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aghatubrid for a fine match.
