Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Scothine Scully who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Alfred Duggan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 4th minute, Bivadi Matthews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 8 minutes, Blaithmeic Hughes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnacahoge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blaithmeic Hughes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Aghatubrid's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Perth came free, but Scott McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scott McJohn came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnacahoge's Bivadi Matthews. But to his dismay, Bivadi Matthews quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Ardán Lavine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnacahoge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aghatubrid the free kick. The goalkeeper, Alfred Duggan, was totally fooled by Aghatubrid's Finnigan Scully, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Scott McJohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bivadi Matthews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bodibeua Dimson during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Rylee McLiam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aghatubrid's Scott McJohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piers Sheridan in the 30th minute of play. Rylee McLiam scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Scott McJohn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfred Duggan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Scothine Scully's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes, Blaithmeic Hughes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barnacahoge and the Aghatubrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blaithmeic Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Gordon Perth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott McJohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barnacahoge's zone, Scothine Scully stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Duggan came out of the goal and Scothine Scully tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Scott McJohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Perth in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Aghatubrid's goal looked a bit too open when Rylee McLiam came free, but Scott McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Scothine Scully to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Rylee McLiam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Scott McJohn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th match minute, Barnacahoge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fachtna McIan to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barnacahoge's goalkeeper Alfred Duggan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Barnacahoge booed when Aghatubrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodibeua Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Aghatubrid's goalkeeper Scott McJohn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaithmeic Hughes. 72 minutes into the match, Aghatubrid's goal looked a bit too open when Rylee McLiam came free, but Scott McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaithmeic Hughes got free with Scott McJohn in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Rylee McLiam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott McJohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Scothine Scully ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Duggan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 78 minutes into the match, Barnacahoge's goal looked a bit too open when Scothine Scully came free, but Alfred Duggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scott McJohn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gordon Perth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 87 minute of play. Scott McJohn made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Blaithmeic Hughes sent off a good shot on target.
