Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brazil Dunne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Blackpool's Tevis McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brazil Dunne in the 6th minute of play. Ferrybank Utd's Brazil Dunne got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brazil Dunne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Harrington Kirby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tevis McCready was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th play minute Harrington Kirby came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tevis McCready. 2-0. If Lochlainn Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Blackpool's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Gough came free, but Tevis McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Brazil Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tevis McCready made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Gough in the 37th minute. Tevis McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brazil Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brazil Dunne during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Ferrybank Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brazil Dunne to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Healey McLian made the kick off in the second half. Tevis McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lochlainn Caffrey in the 61st minute of the match. Tevis McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brazil Dunne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartley Dunne made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Harrington Kirby immediately put the ball in play. Baolach McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Healey McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Blackpool's Brosnan Byrne seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Brosnan Byrne the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Blackpool protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brosnan Byrne had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Blackpool:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ferrybank Utd:s goal. Ryan McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ferrybank Utd's Rollin Lester tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
