Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Harold Hunt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Teagan Hamilton charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teagan Hamilton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Drumreilly got a freekick which was hit by Teagan Hamilton . After having played for 8 minutes, Harold Hunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangerton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold Hunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harold Hunt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mangerton AFC's Boyle McFrank got a free kick in the 17th minute. Drumreilly's Ardán Kirby couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mangerton AFC. Dillon Dillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brenda Byrne having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Beagan Colwell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangerton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumreilly the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Mangerton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beagan Colwell to maneuver through the defense. Dillon Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Mangerton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dillon Dillon came free, but Brenda Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brenda Byrne came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Drumreilly's Dillon Dillon. But to his dismay, Dillon Dillon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Breannain Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brenda Byrne having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Dillon Dillon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mangerton AFC's zone, Breannain Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brenda Byrne came out of the goal and Breannain Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Breannain Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brenda Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darick Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sameer Branson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dillon Dillon to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mangerton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teagan Hamilton came free, but Brenda Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Breannain Lavine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dillon Dillon in the 60th minute of play forced Mangerton AFC's goalkeeper Brenda Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Horgan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Teagan Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Brenda Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dillon Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dillon Dillon in the 73rd minute of play forced Mangerton AFC's goalkeeper Brenda Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Darick Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sameer Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mangerton AFC's Boyd McDonald got a free kick in the 79th minute. A hard shot 81 in the game by Breannain Lavine from a close distance when the talented Brenda Byrne managed to make a qualified save. Mangerton AFC's players were relieved. The supporters of Mangerton AFC booed when Drumreilly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seán Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mangerton AFC's Tady Ghee got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ardán Kirby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brenda Byrne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. The Mangerton AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Drumreilly's performance. The match ended with a win for Drumreilly.
