Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eoin Kirby got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berach McVictor in the 4th minute of play forced Lough AFC's goalkeeper Scott McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Feagarrid Utd's Bera Deans got a free kick in the 9th minute. Eoin Kirby's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Banbhan McTom firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eoin Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Banbhan McTom having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Phelim Caffey took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Banbhan McTom to make any attempt to save it. Arnold Dalton was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lough AFC! In the 28th match minute, Feagarrid Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berach McVictor to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Giles McSteve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Feagarrid Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Feagarrid Utd's Banbhan McTom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Feagarrid Utd from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giles McSteve to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Fintan Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott McGlynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eoin Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feagarrid Utd's Banbhan McTom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phelim Caffey in the 62nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Eoin Kirby notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Feagarrid Utd's Banbhan McTom. Banbhan McTom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cathal Moran in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Scott McGlynn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bryan Lester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Feagarrid Utd's zone, Bryan Lester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Banbhan McTom came out of the goal and Bryan Lester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Banbhan McTom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eoin Kirby went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Eoin Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lough AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eoin Kirby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Banbhan McTom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Treno Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donegal Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Scott McGlynn made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cathal Moran sent off a good shot on target. Eoin Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
