Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baoithin McMichel started the match with the kick off. In the 10thth minute of the game Baoithin McMichel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geashill FC's Brannen Walker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Devlin Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bow McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art McJohnny having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Ardranny's goalkeeper Art McJohnny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bow McSteven. In the 20th minute, Saoirse Lavine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brannen Walker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Saoirse Lavine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ardranny's supporters rose to their feet, but Saoirse Lavine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brannen Walker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Ardranny's Art McJohnny got control of the ball when Bow McSteven tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Geashill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baoithin McMichel came free, but Brannen Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baoithin McMichel in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brannen Walker saved Geashill FC from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Saoirse Lavine notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Geashill FC's Brannen Walker. Brannen Walker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brannen Walker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baoithin McMichel's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Bow McSteven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geashill FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ardranny the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Geashill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bow McSteven to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Saoirse Lavine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brannen Walker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Saoirse Lavine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brannen Walker. Geashill FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saoirse Lavine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baoithin McMichel in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brannen Walker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ardranny's Saoirse Lavine got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Devlin Barrett took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Art McJohnny. Art McJohnny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Art McJohnny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Devlin Barrett went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Geashill FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bradagain Martyn hit a great ball. After 85 minutes, Saoirse Lavine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardranny and the Geashill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saoirse Lavine hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Bow McSteven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Art McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Art McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlin Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Geashill FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ardranny's performance. The match ended with a win for Ardranny.
