Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Doney McLaughlin got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Lochlainn Ferguson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pollrone and the Ardaghy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Pollrone got a freekick which was hit by Lochlainn Ferguson. Beollan Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ardaghy's Beollan Harkin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Pollrone got a freekick which was hit by Tipraite Lavine. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beollan Harkin in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bearach McDonald saved Pollrone from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pollrone's Lochlainn Ferguson got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Pollrone's Derry Beckett got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bearach McDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barde McSteven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Tipraite Lavine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Becc McAlphie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ardaghy's Barde McSteven suffered a sore foot after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 52nd minute of the match Derry Beckett completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Derry Beckett a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd match minute, Pollrone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derry Beckett to maneuver through the defense. Boland McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bearach McDonald having to interfere. A collision led to Pollrone getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Doney McLaughlin hit a great ball. Doney McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Pollrone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Prunty to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pollrone's Breanainn Johnson got a free kick in the 78th minute. Tipraite Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gordan McPeter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ardaghy's Gordan McPeter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tipraite Lavine in the 88th minute of play. Ardaghy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
