Bryan Dalton charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Dalton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Corcreeghagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Dalton. 12 minutes into the match, Corcreeghagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Harley McTommy came free, but Heremon McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Corcreeghagh Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bradagain McPaul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Corcreeghagh Utd getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Toran John hit a great ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Heremon McTommy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Brannagh Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Corcreeghagh Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannagh Keegan couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Corcreeghagh Utd's Brann Mullan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braonain Byrne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. During the 38th minute of the match Harley McTommy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Harley McTommy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 75th minute, Brann Mullan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braonain Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannagh Keegan in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match, Brann Mullan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Braonain Byrne was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 89 minutes into the match, Srananagh Utd's goalkeeper Braonain Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brann Mullan. Brannagh Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braonain Byrne having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Srananagh Utd's zone, Brann Mullan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braonain Byrne came out of the goal and Brann Mullan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corcreeghagh Utd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
