Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harley McTommy started the match with the kick off. Harley McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braonain Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryland John in the 14th minute of play. Bearach McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradagain McPaul in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Pollrone's goal looked a bit too open when Bradagain McPaul came free, but Bearach McDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pollrone getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Derry Beckett hit a great ball. Bard McPaul was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Bard McPaul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Srananagh Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doney McLaughlin made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Doney McLaughlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braonain Byrne was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doney McLaughlin in the 69th minute of play forced Srananagh Utd's goalkeeper Braonain Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derry Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Barhart Cronin fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Srananagh Utd's protests and gave Barhart Cronin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Srananagh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barhart Cronin to maneuver through the defense. Derry Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Srananagh Utd were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
