Brannen Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harley McTommy, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Braonain Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlin Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradagain McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannen Walker having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Harley McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Srananagh Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harley McTommy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Srananagh Utd's Braonain Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quaid Duggan in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Geashill FC's Devlin Barrett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braonain Byrne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Devlin Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Bradagain Martyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braonain Byrne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Devlin Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geashill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Devlin Barrett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braonain Byrne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes in the game, Bradagain McPaul fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brannen Walker having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Srananagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Devlin Barrett came free, but Braonain Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Bradagain McPaul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harley McTommy made a kick off. Bradagain McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannen Walker having to interfere. Rorey McIan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Bradagain McPaul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brannen Walker having to make a save. When Shamus Byrne fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Srananagh Utd's protests and gave Shamus Byrne a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Shamus Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bow McSteven struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Braonain Byrne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geashill FC. In the 66th minute Devlin Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braonain Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Srananagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Devlin Barrett came free, but Braonain Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Devlin Barrett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Srananagh Utd's Braonain Byrne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Devlin Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Braonain Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Bard McPaul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Srananagh Utd and the Geashill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Srananagh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bard McPaul to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Srananagh Utd! Bradagain McPaul struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Brannen Walker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Srananagh Utd. 1-2 became the score in the 95th minute when Harley McTommy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Geashill FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
