Boylan Benson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Kerrigan McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heremon McTommy having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heron Hutton in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heremon McTommy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Emly getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Geralt McNamee hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Brannagh Keegan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emly's Timothy McIan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st match minute, Emly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breanne Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emly's goalkeeper Timothy McIan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kerrigan McOlivers short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Heremon McTommy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corcreeghagh Utd's goalkeeper Heremon McTommy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, Corcreeghagh Utd's Brannagh Keegan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timothy McIan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 38 played minutes Emly got a freekick which was hit by Breanne Dempsey. Corcreeghagh Utd's Brigid Frankson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Emly. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Brann Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corcreeghagh Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Brann Mullan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timothy McIan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Emly's Kerrigan McOliver got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brannagh Keegan was the one to do the kick off. Kerrigan McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heremon McTommy having to interfere. In the 52nd match minute, Corcreeghagh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barclay Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. If Heron Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brannagh Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Timothy McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timothy McIan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Brann Mullan sent off a good shot on target. If Brann Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heremon McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heron Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Brannagh Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brannagh Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brannagh Keegan in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timothy McIan saved Emly from getting behind. Corcreeghagh Utd's Heremon McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heron Hutton in the 82nd minute of play. Bryan Dalton hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Heremon McTommy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heron Hutton in the 97th minute of play. Corcreeghagh Utd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
