A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Kilfenora's Séamus Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph McLian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Kilfenora booed when Lismore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taveon McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Kilfenora's Paudraig Kirby broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 29th minute, Dillon Brennan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Colm Beckett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berrigan McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Dillon Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Dillon Brennan made the kick off in the second half. Lismore FC's Berrigan McVictor got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Séamus Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joseph McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dillon Brennan in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph McLian saved Lismore FC from getting behind. When Kilfenora's Séamus Byrne in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Berrigan McVictor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kilfenora's Séamus Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Paudraig Kirby sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lismore FC's Joseph McLian didn't even have to move. Joseph McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Séamus Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
