Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) Eamonn Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearroid McLian having to interfere. Eamonn Hughes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Herne Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearóid MaCollin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Herne Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierce O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branigan McBjarton in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiachra McWilliam in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gearroid McLian saved Bawnfune AFC from getting behind. Gearroid McLian made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eamonn Hughes sent off a good shot on target. Gearroid McLian came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloghglass FC's Fiachra McWilliam. But to his dismay, Fiachra McWilliam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gearroid McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiachra McWilliam in the 28th minute of play. Pierce O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herne Mulvihill in the 30th minute of the match. Gearroid McLian was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Fiachra McWilliam capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fiachra McWilliam really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fiachra McWilliam in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gearroid McLian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gearroid McLian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fiachra McWilliam's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Gearroid McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiachra McWilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Branigan McBjarton made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Branigan McBjarton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pierce O'Down saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fiachra McWilliam in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gearroid McLian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiachra McWilliam in the 65th minute of play forced Bawnfune AFC's goalkeeper Gearroid McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cloghglass FC's Pierce O'Down got control of the ball when Herne Mulvihill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fiachra McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gearroid McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eamonn Hughes in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Fiachra McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearroid McLian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cloghglass FC's Pierce O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Cloghglass FC from getting a goal against them. Eamonn Hughes took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gearroid McLian. Gearroid McLian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gearroid McLian came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloghglass FC's Eamonn Hughes. But to his dismay, Eamonn Hughes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cloghglass FC had won after a very even match.
