Colm Beckett came out of the goal and Branigan McBjarton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colm Beckett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Branigan McBjarton went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kilfenora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dillon Brennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dillon Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Dillon Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
