Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brenn McCready made the kick off and thus started the match. Seoirse McBjarton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairthmead McGlenn in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Whitebog Utd defense, Thom McWillie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seoirse McBjarton. The Whitebog Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seoirse McBjarton should have stopped the shot. Whitebog Utd's Seoirse McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenn McCready in the 16th minute of play. Seoirse McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Art Scully, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Rory McFrank kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fergal Barrett. That made the score 1-2 in the 21 minute of play. Liam Willson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rory McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergal Barrett having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Rory McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitebog Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Rory McFrank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergal Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rory McFrank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Art Scully ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seoirse McBjarton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Whitebog Utd's Seoirse McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenn McCready in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rory McFrank made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Birr Silke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dromgarriff's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitebog Utd the free kick. Whitebog Utd were furious when Beary Harkin was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 56th minute, one of Whitebog Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Whitebog Utd. If Liam Willson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Bairthmead McGlenn could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Seoirse McBjarton however easily saved by the left post. After 72 minutes of play, Dromgarriff's Art Scully made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seoirse McBjarton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Whitebog Utd's Brenden McJon quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bel McTom, made in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Whitebog Utd's goalkeeper Seoirse McBjarton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Art Scully. 80 minutes into the match, Thom McWillie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Seoirse McBjarton, 2-6. In the 86th minute, Bairthmead McGlenn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seoirse McBjarton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Dromgarriff's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
