The referee ignored Moate's protests and gave Blian Ghee a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Blian Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Benedict McCollion sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cleary McIan skillfully saved the ball. Cleary McIan made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Berrigan McVictor sent off a good shot on target. If Berrigan McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Moate got a freekick which was hit by Tathan McCready. If Kealan Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Berrigan McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lismore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berrigan McVictor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleary McIan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doney Taylor in the 25th minute of play forced Moate's goalkeeper Cleary McIan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brann McOliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph McLian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brann McOliver's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Seoirse Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Lismore FC's Joseph McLian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brann McOliver in the 43rd minute of play. If Boynton Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph McLian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brann McOliver's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brann McOliver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berrigan McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleary McIan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lismore FC's Taveon McJohn got a free kick in the 54th minute. A long shot from Bivadi Rutherford in the 55th minute of play was well struck, but Joseph McLian made a really good save at the right post. Joseph McLian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kealan Lester in the 60th minute. Blian Ghee hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Cleary McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berrigan McVictor in the 67th minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moate's goalkeeper Cleary McIan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Lismore FC's goalkeeper Joseph McLian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boynton Caffey. 79 minutes into the match, Moate's Kealan Lester sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph McLian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Berrigan McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cleary McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kealan Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Moate's Brann McOliver got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Joseph McLian made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Brann McOliver sent off a good shot on target. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
