Spectators: 6759 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fiachra McWilliam made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Whitebog Utd's Banban Dunne got a free kick in the 6th minute. Rory McFrank hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Liam Willson fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whitebog Utd's protests and gave Liam Willson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Fiachra McWilliam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloghglass FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Rory McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierce O'Down having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Fiachra McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seoirse McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seoirse McBjarton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiachra McWilliam in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rory McFrank stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Seoirse McBjarton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiachra McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Beary McAlphie came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cloghglass FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beary McAlphie couldn't finish the play. Pierce O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Willson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Beary Harkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cloghglass FC booed when Whitebog Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Banban Dunne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Rory McFrank cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pierce O'Down was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gearóid MaCollin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seoirse McBjarton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gearóid MaCollin in the 90th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cloghglass FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
