Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Beineon Colwell fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leenane AFC's protests and gave Beineon Colwell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Beineon Colwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Barra McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Booak Lavine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Theodore Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bearnad McDecland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Philib Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theodore Lester in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philib Ghee saved Fathain from getting behind. Reamann McWilliam might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Booak Lavine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reamann McWilliam ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Peter Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Leenane AFC defense, Barra McWill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Booak Lavine. The Leenane AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Booak Lavine should have stopped the shot. Booak Lavine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reamann McWilliam in the 26th minute of play. Beineon Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Philib Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bearnad McDecland in the 30th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Philib Ghee kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Theodore Lester might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philib Ghee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theodore Lester ran back to his position shaking his head. Fathain's Philib Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bearnad McDecland in the 46th minute of play. Philib Ghee was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Peter Rogers. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bearnad McDecland was the one to do the kick off. Reamann McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barra McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Booak Lavine having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Barra McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fathain's supporters rose to their feet, but Barra McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Booak Lavine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leenane AFC's Theodore Lester in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fathain's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barra McWill in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Booak Lavine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th match minute, Fathain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branson McJohnny to maneuver through the defense. Leenane AFC's Ciarán Rutherford couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fathain. In the 80th minute Bearnad McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philib Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reamann McWilliam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Booak Lavine having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
