Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fionn Lester started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bearnad McDecland got in the 4th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Logan Gollogley handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Fionn Lester scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Booak Lavine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Killina's Derry Gough got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Leenane AFC's Bearnad McDecland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Logan Gollogley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Logan Gollogley made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Theodore Lester sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute, Brecc McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes in the game Ciarán Rutherford got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. After 23 played minutes Killina got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Cassin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pembroke Bayes in the 26th minute of play forced Killina's goalkeeper Logan Gollogley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Theodore Lester came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Leenane AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodore Lester couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes, Killina's Brede McJames shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Booak Lavine came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Killina reached it. Killina were furious when Derry Gough was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 44 minutes into the game, one of Killina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bearnad McDecland was the one to do the kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Bearnad McDecland notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Killina's Logan Gollogley. Logan Gollogley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Oliver Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Theodore Lester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Logan Gollogley was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Oliver Cassin struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Booak Lavine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killina. Logan Gollogley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bearnad McDecland in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Bearnad McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Logan Gollogley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theodore Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leenane AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Killina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
